The artwork featured on this card was made by Jim M. It is safe to say that Second Story Cards would not exist without him. In 2010, while he was preparing his sleeping area across the street from Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, we sat down and had a long conversation. Intelligent, funny and artistically gifted, he's the kind of person you naturally want to help. Seven years later, what was just an idea became a reality and we launched the company. For this card, Jim recycled an old canvas and used acrylic paint to create Weave. The original hangs in our office today. After a decade on the streets, we're delighted to share that Jim is no longer homeless and happily resides in Dayton, Ohio.

Jim receives 15% of the sales from this card and we'll donate an additional 10% to Miriam's Kitchen in Washington, DC. Jim painted Weave at one of their art therapy sessions.
