GRADUATION
MPH1000This card was inspired by Marcellus Phillips of Washington, DC. He credits his late grandmother for encouraging him to finish his high school education. “I didn’t want her to die thinking none of us graduated. I wanted her to know that at least one of us walked across that stage. It wasn’t easy, but I when I put my mind to something, you ain’t gonna stop me. That’s the same way I look at me being homeless. That may be my situation today, but it won’t be for long.” Marcellus just recently found stable housing and is thankful for all of the support that he has received.
Marcellus receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 10% to a charity of the cardmaker's choice. Marcellus has chosen the Epilepsy Foundation of Washington, DC for this card.
