This card was created by Jim of Dayton, OH. He loves him some - preferably dark roast. And he got plenty of it during the ten years he spent living on the streets of Washington, DC. Most days he could be found on the second floor of a well-known, national chain of coffee cafes. He was often the first customer there and would sit in the same spot every day, where he had easy access to an outlet to power his laptop and phone.
Today Jim no longer homeless and is actually a homeowner. Thanks to a modest inheritance that he received after his parents passed away in 2016, he was able to purchase a home for less than the cost of a nice new car because of the crippled housing in Dayton. “It’s still awesome to me that I can take a hot shower whenever I want, put on clean clothes every day and say hello to strangers without them thinking I’m going to ask them for spare change."
Jim receives 15% of the sales from this card. Additionally, Second Story Cards will donate 10% of the profits of this card to the charity of his choice: Missionaries of Charity in Washington, DC.
