Dana Howerton (Capitol Heights, MD)

CLASS OF 2021

DHO1000
Regular price $5.00

This social distancing graduation card supports Dana Howerton. “Graduation is important. You’re taking a big step in your life, possibly the biggest so far in the life of a young adult.” Unfortunately, many seniors will not be taking any steps across a stage, they'll be attending their graduation on Zoom. "I feel bad for them, but more important than walking across a stage or dressing up with their fellow graduates in their caps and gowns is the achievement of graduating. Nothing, not coronavirus, nothing can take that accomplishment away." We’re proud to share that after 8 years of being homeless in our nation’s capital, Dana found housing in April or 2020. He is currently sharing an apartment in Raleigh, NC.

Dana receives 15% of the sales from this card and we donate an additional 10% to Young Women's Project in Dana's name.

Size: A2 (5.5" x 4.25")
