HANUKKAH FORTUNE COOKIE

This card was inspired by King Mark of Washington, DC. “I don’t really celebrate the holidays,” he says. “And I often have a hard time finding places to eat that are open on Christmas Day, but I usually end up at a Chinese restaurant, they’re always open on Christmas. It’s just me and bunch of Jews enjoying some delicious Kung Pao chicken.”

King Mark was homeless for several years until finding housing in 2018. He receives 15% of the sales from this card and Second Story Cards donates an additional 10% to The Jewish Board, an organization providing housing each night for more than 1,600 people dealing with homelessness and mental health.
